Going to Te Poho o Rawiri Marae

It was a Thursday morning and I was at the Te Poho o Rawiri Marae sitting down on the concrete playing hand games with my friends. Ow ow ow  I sat on a rock. We went in  a line of boys at the back and girls at the front. Bang as we went inside the marae they introduced themselves. .We sang some songs, they talked and then all the boys got up and the girls got up but they just  stood  there and all the boys honga them. Then we went out for morning tea I saw a dark brown horse like a rotten banana.

After morning tea I played with the rugby ball with my friends. The bell went and we went back to the grass and sat down they put all of us into groups. I was in group 2 and we were going up Titirangi first, it was really tiring until we got to the place were we need to get to.The fun part was when we came down cos we got to run down the hill and we got fresh air in our face. When we got back we moved to our next rotation which was Whakapapa and Whakapiri.

We had lunch then we played and then we carried on with our rotations. I didn't stay the night, my mum came and picked me up.

The end

This is game when you let go of your stick and try to get the other persons and catch it.  Matau and Maui
